Welcome to the Eastern Wander website (the “Website”). This Website is provided to assist customers in creating tailor-made journeys, carefully crafted to deliver a personalized adventure like no other. The terms “we”, “us”, “our”, and “Eastern Wander” refer to Eastern Wander. The term “you”, “customer”, or “the traveler” refers to the customer visiting or using the Website and booking a reservation through our customer service agents.
The General Terms and Conditions apply to travel programs without a cruise component. If your travel program includes a Cruise, the Cruise Terms and Conditions shall apply, and so shall the General Terms and Conditions. With the exception of the specific terms of the Cruise Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions shall otherwise control.
The General Terms and Conditions apply to travel programs without a villa component. If your travel program includes a Villa, the Villa Terms and Conditions shall apply, and so shall the General Terms and Conditions. With the exception of the specific terms of the Villa Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions shall otherwise control.
If your travel program combines a Cruise component and a Villa component, the Cruise Terms and Conditions and the Villa Terms and Conditions shall each apply respectively. The General Terms and Conditions shall otherwise control.
A deposit equal to 30% of the total price of your entire travel program is required at the time of booking. Certain components of your travel program may require a deposit greater than 30%. We accept payment via credit card, certified check, wire transfer or money order.
The balance is due 90 days prior to departure. If your reservation is made within 90 days of departure, the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of confirmation.
All cancellations of confirmed reservations are subject to a USD $350 per person administrative fee. Additionally, clients are subject to any cancellation fees assessed by the purveyors of services including hotels, cruise lines, charter vessels, transfer providers, activity providers, rail suppliers and/or airlines.
Travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers. You are solely responsible for purchasing comprehensive travel insurance through a third-party insurance provider prior to departure. Your insurance policy should include medical coverage, emergency evacuation, repatriation coverage, and trip interruption protection.
Eastern Wander does not provide, sell, arrange, or verify travel insurance coverage of any kind. We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance and baggage insurance.
Eastern Wander shall not be held liable for any costs, losses, damages, medical expenses, evacuation expenses, trip interruption expenses, or other claims arising from a traveler’s failure to obtain appropriate travel insurance coverage.
Valid passports are required for travel to most destinations. It is your responsibility to obtain all proper documentation including a passport, any required visas, reciprocity fees, affidavits, immunizations, vaccinations, etc.
Eastern Wander does not provide advice on travel documents and makes no representations or warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of any information provided on visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, or special equipment.
Weight restrictions may apply on internal flights and/or cruises. Baggage and personal effects are at the owner’s risk throughout the travel program. It is your responsibility to check with the airline, cruise provider, or relevant transportation supplier for baggage restrictions applicable to your itinerary.
Any prices are based on current rates of exchange, tariffs and taxes. Eastern Wander reserves the right to increase the price of your travel program in the event of increased costs from suppliers, tariffs and taxes, or fluctuations in foreign exchange markets.
Eastern Wander also reserves the right to withdraw a tour or any part of it, make alterations in the itinerary or inclusions, and pass on to travelers any expenditures or losses caused by delays or events beyond its control. If you request changes to your travel program, additional fees may apply.
Eastern Wander reserves the right to take photographs during the operation of any travel program and to use them for promotional purposes. By booking a reservation, travelers agree to allow their images to be used. Travelers who prefer that their images not be used are asked to notify Eastern Wander in writing at the beginning of their travel program.
Refunds are not made for missed services except for verifiable extenuating circumstances determined solely by Eastern Wander.
No refunds will be made for unused sightseeing trips or meals. Eastern Wander will not accept liability for claims received later than 30 days after completion of the travel program.
Eastern Wander will not accept responsibility for mistakes or errors in airfare bookings made by independent third parties. The traveler’s confirmed itinerary will contain detailed arrival and departure information, and it is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure accuracy.
In addition to the applicable Cruise Terms and Conditions, Eastern Wander will not accept responsibility for mistakes or errors in the operation of any Cruise. The traveler’s confirmed itinerary will contain detailed cruise-related information.
Eastern Wander does not own or operate any entity which provides goods or services for your travel program. Transportation providers, hotels, villas, restaurants, guides, cruise operators and other suppliers are independent contractors.
Travelers assume all risks associated with adventure travel, remote destinations, wildlife activities, altitude exposure and similar activities. Any controversy or claim shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
In addition to applicable Villa Terms and Conditions, Eastern Wander will not accept responsibility for mistakes or errors in the operation of any Villa. The traveler is responsible for ensuring correct arrival and departure information.
Eastern Wander works with accommodation providers, airlines, guides, activity providers, cruise operators, transportation companies and other independent suppliers (“Third Party Suppliers”). Although Eastern Wander takes reasonable care in selecting suppliers, we cannot control or supervise Third Party Suppliers and therefore cannot be responsible for their acts or omissions.
All services provided by Third Party Suppliers are subject to their own terms and conditions, liability limitations and operational policies. Eastern Wander shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, inconvenience, disappointment, delays or expenses arising from the acts or omissions of Third Party Suppliers.
